Edward Lee Moses Sr. was born on January 10, 1942 in Bishopville, SC to Samuel and Essie Moses. He passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025 at Atrium/Wake Forest

Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC.

He worked tirelessly with Piedmont Fencing Inc. for many years until becoming disabled. He was a hardworking, soft spoken, loving and caring man. His smile warmed the room.

Edward was preceded in death by his child, Perry Moses;parents, Samuel and Essie Moses; and siblings, Marvin Moses, Rosevelt Moses, Rosetta "Bunch" Moses, Aaron Moses,and Hannah Mae Moses.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his devoted and loving wife of 58 years, Julia Jean Hines Moses, of Winston-Salem, NC; 6 children: Janice Hines, Edward Moses Jr.,

Kenny Moses, Brian Moses, Terry "Little Bit" Moses, and Sandra Moses; grandchildren: Deandra Moses, Erica Adamson, Shermaine "Cortez" Moses, Paris Moses, Casja

Moses, and Shorovia Williams; great-grandchildren: Demetrius, Tyshaun, Deniyjah, Brianna, Nevaeh, Caiden, Aubre,and Gianni; siblings Samuel "Shot" Moses Jr, James

Moses, Zeke Moses, and Mae Moses; two people dear to us,an aunt, Geraldine Hines and a cousin, Joe Hines; many other cousins, nieces, and nephews; and very good friends, Gene and Robert Galloway.

Public viewing will be from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Friday January 10, 2025 at Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral service 1:30 PM, Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, 1400 Fitch Street, Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The family will greet friends 30 minutes prior to service. Interment in Gardens of Memory.
