Mrs. Earline H. Anderson, 84, transitioned from earth to eternity at Forsyth Medical Center on Sunday, December 4, 2016, following a period of illness.

She was born to the late Henry and Survannah Hatcher in Surry County on October 27, 1932. Mrs. Anderson graduated from J.J. Jones High School in Mt. Airy. She was licensed as a cosmetologist in 1952 following completion of course requirements at Wood Morgan Beauty College in Charlotte, NC.

She met and married the late John Anderson in 1954 and they became the proud parents of two children. Mrs. Anderson owned and operated Anderson's Beauty Salon for over 60 years prior to retirement. She was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, where she actively participated in several ministries.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings. Survivors include her daughter and caregiver, Pamela A. Anderson; favorite son, John (Dianne) Anderson; grandchildren: Candace (Deon) McDonald, John Anderson, III (fiancé, Natasha), Ameja R. (Danni) Smith, and Bryan Mack; step grandchildren; great grandchildren, Dylan A. Anderson and Oliver E. McDonald; other relatives, many friends and the favorite family pet, "Miss Coach."

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
