Donte' Lamont Hayes was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to Lakeyia Dyvette Hayes on January 14, 1989. He received miserly childhood education in the public schools of San Francisco Unified School District in California and he graduated from Balboa High School in that city. This beautiful soul had an extremely creative mind. His wish was for his family to be loving, caring, respectful, and considerate of one another. He shared a very special bond with his only son, Donte' Sache Mak-Hayes. He totally enjoyed fatherhood and he, like his son, would not allow too many days to pass without them spending quality time with each other. Donte' also had a special bond with his Grandfather and Pastor Cosmos Ozonsi. He held a special relationship with many of his cousins. His aunties and uncles and many friends from school also held a special place in his heart. He was loved and admired by all who came to know him. He was very ambitious and full of ideas. he was not afraid to do the hard work necessary to accomplish his goals and he was pretty successful in most of his undertakings. He worked for many years as a Security Officer for the city of San Francisco and as an added bonus for his economic wellbeing, he was an Uber Driver. He was a workaholic. Donte' Lamont Hayes passed away unexpectedly in San Francisco, California on Friday, June 28. 2019. Those family members who survive and who will forever cherish loving memories of a beautiful "man child" and devoted father include his mother, Lakeyia Dyvette Hayes; his son, Donte' Sasche Mak-Hayes and his mother, Julie Mak; two brothers, Shiloh Jared-Khahari Hayes-Palmer and James Kenneth Rivers Jr.; his grandmother, Mary Hayes; grandfather, John (Joan) Robert Hayes Jr.; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; and many other extended family members and friends.
