Mr. Donald James Huggins was born to the late Margaret Elizabeth Brown and the late William Huggins in Baltimore City, Maryland on January 23, 1943.

He gave service for his country during the Vietnam Era and following his honorable military service he was discharged from the United States Army.

Mr. Huggins had a varied employment history that included his most recent position with Salem Health Services Laundry in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Mr. Donald James Huggins peacefully passed away at The Brian Center Health and Rehab in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, on March 27, 2017.

Those family members who survive and who will cherish fond memories of him include his daughter, Telissa Jackson; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Reverend Henry (Angela) Green and Joseph Keels; a sister, Bernice Gordon of Charleston, South Carolina; his niece, Tequila Green; and several extended family members.

A service in Mr. Huggins memory was held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 8, 2017 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home.
