Mr. Delano Chavez Walker Senior affectionally called (Lano), born 21 April 1970 in Forsyth County, North Carolina to Mrs. Louise Heilig (husband David Heilig) and the late Leander Walker. Grandparents Annie Davis and the late Walter Davis.

He leaves behind his son Mr. Delano Chavez Walker Jr., daughters Kiana Walker, and April Boone. Two grandchildren Que'Yon Hunter and Raynard Miller. Three brothers Leander Walker (AKA) Tyrone (wife Cindy Walker), Kennel Walker, and Keith Walker. Three sister Valerie Walker (husband Cleveland Beasley), Tonda Penn (husband Walter Penn) and Vettie Walker. He also has a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews , other relatives and friends who loved him and he loved dearly.

Public viewing from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM, Friday, January 12, 2024 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends thirty-minutes prior to service. Interment in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
