Mr. Delana Lemarr Crosby was born in Winston-Salem, NC on December 29, 1961 to the late Queen Elizabeth Black and James Hairston. He departed this life on April 9, 2023 at Wake Forest Baptist Health.

He was educated in the local schools and was a handyman by trade.

He was a loving and devoted brother to his siblings, Al Crosby and Tymphony Crosby. He is also survived by his only beloved daughter, Delana Crosby and her two daughter, Keyana Watlington and Azriel Jenkins; his aunts: Mary Abussasaeur, Cassandra Daniels and Brenda Clark; special friend, Yvonne Little and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Crosby's funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 15, 2023 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. The family will greet friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Mr. Crosby will be viewed publicly from 12:00 PM ~ 6:00 PM on Friday, April 14, 2023 at the funeral home.
