Link caption Mr. DaShaun RodRick Sheff, the son of Shannon Sheff Hairston and Dontre'Johnson, was born on December 9, 1995 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Much too soon for his family and friends, he passed away on February 19, 2025.

He received his formal education in Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System. While he attended Carver High School, he partici-pated in a variety of school activities.

His employment included The Cheesecake Factory and additional positions in armed security. To name a few, his interests included weight lifting, music, and gaming,

He was preceded in death by his stepfather Stephon Hairston, grandmother, Diane Hill, his great-grandparents, Luther Breazeale and Mary Louise Breazeale, and great aunt, Gwendolyn Breazeale.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are: daughters, Nevarhjah Sheff, Musique Sheff and Nemiehjah Sheff; his parents, Shannon Sheff Hairston and, Dontre' Johnson; a sister, Lutisha Hairston; brothers, DeQuan Sheff, LynDon Sheff, Stefon Hairston; grandfather, Samuel Sheff, Sr.; grandmother, Dixie Sheff ; uncle, Samuel Sheff, Jr.; aunts, Samantha Sheff, Chasity Johnson and Mary Lee Breazeale; a childhood friend, Robert J. Franklin Jr.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service for Mr. Sheff will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 1, 2025 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. The family will greet friends at 1:00 PM during public viewing.
