Darryl Moore
Scott
Dec 23, 1959 — Aug 16, 2021
To God be the Glory for the things He has done, for he hears the cries of His children and will not allow them to suffer any more than they can bear. Tuesday morning, August 16, 2021, God saw fit to call Darryl Moore Scott home at the age of 61. Darryl was born on December 23, 1959 to the late Irvin E. Scott and Shirley Moore.
At an early age, Darryl moved to Richmond, Virginia where he attended the public schools, graduating from Armstrong High School, in 1978. He furthered his education at John Tyler Community College in Mortuary Science. After moving to Columbus, Ohio, Darryl graduated from Ohio School of Science and Kaplan university where he was awarded an Associate Degree in Para Legal Studies. While at Kaplan, Darryl maintained honors status and was always listed on the Dean's List.
He worked at Data Tech where he was loved by all.
Darryl was blessed with many talents: cook, decorator, barber, singer and architect. He built houses out of cardboard and designed each floor with furniture. Darryl sang in musicals, one entitled "Charlie Brown In The City". He collected very expensive model cars.
Darryl was preceded in death by his father, Irvin E. Scott.
He leaves to cherish their memories, his mother, Shirley Moore; brother, Jannil Moore, Jr.; step-father, Jannil Moore, Sr.; devoted friend, Paul Miller; son, Jaylon Jones; his dog, Colby; loving and devoted aunt, Thelma McCoy; many cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service for Mr. Scott will be private. There will be a public viewing Friday, August 27, 2021 at Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home from 12:00 P.M.- 5:00 P.M.
