Daron Lamonta Bines, Jr. was born June 18, 1990 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to the late Daron Lamonta Bines, Sr. and the late Pearlie Mae Gist. Following the passing of his parents, he was adopted at an early age by his grandmother, Doris Bines.

Daron began and completed his education in the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System.

Daron was employed by Classic Packaging, where he worked as a Dye Finisher. Outside of work, he enjoyed singing, rapping, cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs and most of all, spending time with his children and family.

Daron was a devoted father, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend.

Daron entered eternal rest on June 8, 2024. In addition to the passing of his parents, he is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Melvin Bines; his paternal grandmother/adoptive mother, Doris Bines; his maternal grandmother, Ola Mae Graves; and his brother, Tyreik Bines.

He leaves to cherish his memories: one daughter, Taraji Huffin; one son, Daron Lamonta Bines, III; four brothers, Deven (Demetrice) Gist, Breyon Gist, Steve (Deshanna) Bines and Anthony Knight; two sisters, Tracie (Kevin) Bines and Melvin (Curt) Bines, a devoted aunt, Deborah Holder; a special friend, Iesha Huffin; and a host of family and friends.

Public viewing for Mr. Bines will be held at 3:00 PM during family visitation hour, Tuesday, June 18, 2024. Service will begin promptly at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home.
