Carrie Elizabeth Ellis of Winston-Salem, NC transitioned from this earthly life on April 22, 2019. Ms. Ellis was born on January 5, 1933 In Winston-Salem to the late Bud and Cora Bitting.

She leaves to cherish her memory four children: Lois (Rudolph) Sullivan, Wilbert (Portia) Ellis Jr., Beverly Ellis, and Annette (Decarus, Sr.) Horne; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a loving God grandchild; one surviving sister, Gracie Stimpson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Tuesday April 30, 2019 at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, Family Visitation 12:30PM -1:00 PM. Interment in Piedmont Memorial Gardens.
