Mr. Clyde Willis Haywood, after a period of illness, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 24 th, 2018 at Autumn Care of Mocksville.

Clyde was the last born of five children on September 4 th, 1948, in Winston Salem, North Carolina to the late Jervy and Katherine Haywood. Clyde was a lover of sports, especially Nascar Racing, enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting and spending time hanging out with friends and family.

Clyde was preceded in death by three brothers: Jerry, Berkley, and Oscar, also four sisters: Betty, Agnes, Emma and Frances.

Clyde is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, two sisters in law, and other family members.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, July 28, 2018 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home.
