Clinton Lash Jr. age 90 was received into the arms of Jesus on Monday, April 25, 2022 at Trellis Supportive Care. Born in High Point North Carolina, Clinton Jr. was the eldest of eight children born to Clinton Lash Sr. and Anniebell McQueen Lash on September 13, 1931.

He attended the Winston Salem Forsyth County school system.

For numerous years he was a gardener for various properties in Winston Salem. Clinton was a longtime member at UMMBC where he devoted his time and talent to create the Rose Gardens around the property before the church was renovated. He also beautified the properties at Granville Place Apartments with roses and various

foliage throughout the years. His other interest included bowling, fishing, golfing, writing music and playing his guitar.

Preceding him in death are Franklin Lash, Raymond Lash, Gloria D Lash, Frances E (James)Wright. He will be dearly missed by his siblings Bennett (Jean) Lash, Juanita (Geter) Anderson, and Dorothy(Samuel) Johnson, God sister, Shirley Scales.

His brothers and sisters would say to him, "You were always kind with a brilliant mind, loving heart and a generous hand you were so anxious to please. You were a loving brother, a faithful friend and we will miss you dearly". His nieces and nephews would tell you how quick he was to mentor them in whatever he was repairing, growing or painting and he would quickly include you in the task. We will miss you dearly. His friends and neighbors would say what a

friendly, knowledgeable, helpful man he was, and they will miss him dearly. Let us remember how he lived out his faith in Christ through his life.

Public viewing for Mr. Lash will be Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 12:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. Interment Piedmont Memorial Gardens.
