Mr. Clifton Ray Peterson passed away at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home on Tuesday, May 16, 2017. He was born to the late Lawrence Henry Paterson and Abbie Jane Conrad Peterson. Ray attended the local public schools and graduated from Paisley High School. He worked in construction for many years and enjoyed the time spent with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Melosande Murray and Elizabeth Conrad; two brothers, Willie Conrad and Lawrence Peterson, Jr. Survivors include his daughters: Charlotte, Nicole and Artemus Peterson; son, Deshawn Shaw; brothers, James (Mary) Peterson and Jerry Peterson; sister, Carolyn Williams; his devoted fiancé, Shelby West; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends. A service in his memory will take place at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. The family will greet friends at 1:30 PM.
