Christopher Gerald Ross was born on March 27, 1984 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to the late Eddie Boris Green, III and Robin Ross Green. Christoper was the second child of four born to that union. He departed peacefully in the presence of his wife on Thursday, November 28, 2023.

Chris graduated from Robert E. Glenn High School, class of 2002. He held several occupations in his early years. Before joining the military, he had many positions, his passion was of making his point being "Mr. Fix It". Chris learned new things and extended his education enrolling at the University of Phoenix majoring in industrial and organizational psychology.

Christopher is preceded in death by his father; paternal grandparents, Eddie and Gloria Green; maternal grandparents, Robert T. Ross, Sr. and Geraldine L. Crump; uncles, Marcus and Vincent Green; Robert T. Ross, Jr.

Left behind to cherish his memories; his loving wife and best friend, Jennifer Ross; children, Sevin Ross of the home, Hannah Martin of the city, Christopher, Masyah, Christian Ross of Graham, NC, step-daughter, Kamya Taylor of Pfafftown, NC and bonus child, Tajhia McCoy; his mother, Robin Ross Green; mother-in-law, Sherlane Hill; two brothers, Jamie Ross and Bryan Eddie Green; one sister, Ryan Ross (Christopher) McDaniels; brothers-in-law, William (Mary) Hill, and Geoff and Michael Hill; sister-in-law, Neotra (Chris) Lee; two uncles, Brandon (Yunisha) Fletcher and Michael (Nisha) Ross; aunts, Teresa (Barry) Buey, Carol and Annita Green, Cheryl Ross, Valerie (Robert) Nothington, Michelle (Lamont) Hawkins, Rhonda McIntosh, all of the city; and a host of other relatives.

Public viewing will be from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Friday, December 8, 2023 at Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral service 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 9, 2023 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons. Family visitation will be held at 1:30 PM.
