Charles Vance Dobson, 71, transitioned this earthly life on July 1, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Health, Cancer Center. Charles was born on August 31, 1945 to Vance and Irene Greene Dobson. Charles leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Gwendolyn Dobson, his children Shawnise Dobson, Tandriene (Kenneth) Venable, Charles Vance (LaTasha) Dobson, Jr., Shuronia Pfleuger, and Robbie Flood; brother, Paul Dobson of Yadkinville, NC, sister, Elsie (Johnny) Smith of Philadelphia, PA, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on July 7th at St. James AME Church ,1501 Patterson Avenue. The family will greet friends at 1:00 PM. Interment will be in Salisbury National Cemetery.
