Berrow
Apr 12, 1960 — Jul 1, 2026
Charles Edward Berrow, the son of Charlene Berrow, was born on April 12, 1960 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Affectionally known as "Billy Dee" to family and friends, he departed this life on July 1, 2026 in his native city.
He attended local public schools and graduated from Atkins High School in 1978. Afterwards, he was employed by several companies including: Baptist Hospital (now Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center) in housekeeping for more than 10 years and Hillcrest Furniture Store. He retired from Cliff Harvel's Moving Company in 2021.
Billy Dee was a simple man who found joy in life's everyday moments. He was a devoted fan of the Raiders football team and also enjoyed the Clemson football team and Duke basketball team. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family and welcomed visits from friends whenever they stopped by to see him. He was known for keeping it real, speaking his mind with honesty, and being true to himself. His straightforward nature, genuine heart, and love for those around him will be remembered by all who knew him
