Caroline Ruth Deese was born on January 9, 1964 to the late Marvin Gene Edsel and Carolyn Bodenhamer in Winston-Salem, NC. She graduated from West Forsyth High School. Mrs. Deese worked at Hayward Industries for 15 years as a machine operator.

Mrs. Deese loved the beach and playing with her pets. She loved spending time with her family.

Mrs. Deese passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Norris and Ruth Bodenhamer.

She is survived by her husband, Marty Lee Deese, Sr.; daughter, Amanda Ellis; son, Dale Austin Ellis; mother, Carolyn Edsel; brother, Marvin Gene Edsel, Jr.; grandchildren: Aarron Mayes, Kaitlynn Deese, Allyssa Deese, Nicklus Deese, Noah McNeillian, Gracie Arrington, Ashton Arrington, Jasper Ellis, Clayton Deese and Olivia Deese; step-children; aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be from 1:00 PM ~ 6:00 PM on Sunday, December 13, 2020. Funeral service will be private. Interment in Woodland Cemetery.
