Carl L. Cloud, J. entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 2, 2019.

Carl was a 1956 graduate of Carver High School and attended A&T State University. He served two years in the US Army and was honorably discharged in 1959.

Carl was employed with R.J.R. Tobacco Company and Schlitz Brewery. His entrepreneurial endeavors included Cloud's Plumbing, Heating & Oil and Food Service Companies, just to name a few.

Carl found much enjoyment in his hobbies and recreational activities, which included fishing, camping, cooking and outdoor grilling. He was an avid sports fan.

Along with his parents, also preceding him in death was his sister, Gloria Cloud Jones (Gary), brother, Dr. Sylvellie R. Cloud, nephew Starling Jones; stepson, Ronald L. Jackson; Delmos, Emmit, Nebraska, Paul Ovelton, Manning and Aldine Cloud and aunts, Nevora Wynn and Galatia Neal.

Survivors include sons, Carl L. Cloud, III, Carlton Cloud, stepdaughter Lakela Jackson, grandsons, Chace, Chance, True Cloud; nieces, Sonja (Maurice) Edwards, Robin Jones Wiggins (Judge Lamont), Monica Cloud, Nina Cloud; nephews; Norman, Rodney, Baron Jones; aunts, Barbara Keller, Alexandria, VA; Lois Dixon, Alexandria, VA; Cozetta Thomas, Colorado Springs, CO; sister-in-law, Angela Cloud, Raleigh, NC; uncle, Napoleon Cloud; host of cousins, including Paul Cloud (Linda), Michael Patterson, Ernestine Burks (John); former spouses, Shirley J.
