Obituary

Mr. Bobby Ray Little was born on October 22, 1945, in Philadelphia, PA. His parents were the late Paul and Elizabeth Little. He quietly slipped away to his eternal home on Monday, November 29, 2021, at the VA Medical Center in Decatur, GA.

Bobby moved to Winston-Salem, NC at an early age. He graduated from Atkins High School and later went on to serve his country by joining United States Army. He was stationed in various countries across the world and served in the Vietnam War. After being honorably discharged, Bobby returned to Winston-Salem where he started a business as a contractor. He eventually moved to California and lived in Pomona and Inglewood for several years. After his stay in California, Bobby moved back to Winston-Salem where he continued his self-employment as a contractor. Ultimately, he moved to Atlanta, GA with his youngest son and his family.

He was talented in so many ways and had the gift and eye for decorating homes inside and out. Friends and family would often consult with him regarding re-decorating, upgrading, and modernizing their homes. He absolutely loved cooking for his family and was an amazing cook. He also loved plants, flowers, and was a passionate fan of tennis. Bobby had the funniest sense of humor and always kept his family and friends laughing.

He was preceded in death by, his parents; two sisters, Betty L. Witherspoon and Paulette L. Burch; and a brother, Danny R. Little.

He leaves to cherish his memory his three sons, Timothy Little, Darryl (Denise) Ray and Daryl (Monica) Little; four grandchildren, Janae Little, Laila Thomas, Eden Little, and Evan Little; two great-grandchildren, Valentin Pronin and Ezabelle Paradise; two sisters, Minnie L. (Tyro) Stephens and Pamela L. Winn; a very special aunt, Hazel C. Morton; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
