Mrs. Betty Ann Albright, 87, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, December 28, 2018.

She was born to the late Carrie Downs and raised by the late Hattie Cooley. She was educated in the Forsyth County School system. Mrs. Albright was married to the late Etheridge B. Albright for 25 years, together they raised 10 children.

She was a Certified Nursing Assistant, working for Amos Cottage, Forsyth Hospital (Novant Health) where she retired with over 30 years of service. Ms. Albright was a long time member of St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church. She later joined Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. Ms. Albright was also a long time member of Garden of Iris Temple #220 and several other organizations.

She is survived by: 5 daughters: Delores Smith, Terrie Harris, Roslyn Woodard, Sharon and Claudette Albright; 3 sons: Curtis Olford, Etheridge Jr, and Maurice; 18 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren; her sister, Dorthy Downs of Baltimore MD; nieces and nephews in Gastonia, NC and Baltimore MD and a host of life long friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday January 3, 2019 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. The family will greet friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Interment in Piedmont Memorial Gardens.
