Mr. Bernard Anthony Oliver Evans, Jr. of Winston-Salem, N C was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on October 8, 1988, to the late Bernard A.O. Evans, Sr. and Faye Collins Evans. Bernard attended the local schools and was a member of First Waughtown Baptist Church. He was lovingly called "Ben" by family and friends. Ben was loved and looked up to by his brothers and sisters in the Easton community, that he loved. He motivated many of his peers and he spoke many words of wisdom.

Ben's motto was "Never judge or look down on a person until you walk a mile in there shoes." He found a new meaning of love when he became a father to Jakier and Koi Je'Cova ("Chunky Munk"). His kids were his heart.

Ben faced some hardships, but he never gave up the fight. He kept it real about his lifestyle. He believed every man should be a provider and stand on their own. His relationship with his big brother Jeff was an unbreakable bond. There was no Ben without Jeff. They believed they only had each other up until the day he passed away on August 11, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his father, little sister, Jecova J. Collins (he never got over her death), his beloved great grandmother, Virginia Thompson and his infant twins. He is now with all of them.

He will always be remembered by his family and the special relationship he had with some friends. He is survived by his mother, Faye Evans; his children; Jakier Kenyon Timberlake and Koi Je'Cova Evans; his brother, Jeffery Dale Edmon, Jr.; special friends: Amber Barksdale (Koi Jecova's mother); Tiffany Timberlake (Jakier's mother) and Danielle Webster; his Easton family; Mike Brown, Gutter, Jayrock, and his "lil brother," Juan; so many cousins and many loving friends.

There will be a memorial service Monday, August 25, 2025 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 12:30 PM.
