We gather in loving memory of Benjamin "Benny" Leon Christian Sr. who graced this world on June 16, 1946, as the beloved child of Joseph Christian and Jeannette Eggleston Christian. They both preceded him in death. With great sadness, the family announced his passing on Sunday, October 20, 2024.

He received his education in the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System, where he was known for his dedication to his studies. In his career, he worked diligently as a courier, always ensuring that packages and deliveries were handled with care and efficiency.

While he appreciated solitude, he also found joy in attending church services, embarking on leisurely road trips, and immersing himself in the tranquility of nature.

He was a man of unique tastes, recognized for his impeccable attire, appreciation for fine cuisine and with a healthy interest in firearms. His individuality and distinctiveness were truly remarkable.

He is survived by his adoring daughter, Joyce Christian Lindsey, and his dedicated son, Benjamin Leon Christian, Jr.; four cherished grandchildren: Brittney, Elliott, Blake, and ShaQuayvia. His love for them was immeasurable. His warmth and affection were always felt.

Benny also leaves to honor his legacy, seven great-grandchildren: Trinity, Da'Mare, Aubree, Kay'dence, Taylin, Teigen, and Celine of the Christian family.

A devoted friend, Rosa McCrea, was an individual he held in high regard and cherished deeply. Their friendship was characterized by mutual respect and affection for each other. She indeed played a most significant role in his life.

Benny will definitely be missed by his family, friends and all others who knew him well.

Public viewing will be held from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral Service 11:30 AM, Friday, October 25, 2024 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. The family will greet friends thirty-minutes prior to service. Interment in Piedmont Memorial Gardens.
