Mr. Arthur James Peterson, son of Mrs. Mamie Peterson, was born on December 23, 1918 in Winston-Salem, NC and departed this life Tuesday, August 1, 2017. Mr. Peterson was a retiree of RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company. He also served in the US Army during WWII.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mrs. Mae Ruth Rice and son James Wesley Peterson. Surviving his passing are his son, Curtis (Vernesia) Peterson; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mr. Peterson will be available for public viewing Monday from 12pm-7pm at Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral service and interment will be private.
