Mr. Anthony Ray McDuffie was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on March 9, 1958 to the late Mr. James Hunt and the late Mrs. Norma Lee McDuffie. He departed his earthly life on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Trellis Supportive Care Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Mr. Anthony Ray McDuffie attended Parkland High School in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He started his career at Dynasty Furniture Company. He later worked at a Construction Company where he retired after many years of working.

Mr. McDuffie was baptized at an early age in Rising Ebenezer Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Frank and Sister Linda Rousseau.

He leaves to cherish his memories and life, James Melvin (Nora) McDuffie of Durham, NC, Jerry Levon (Robbie) McDuffie Sr. of Rural Hall, NC, Vincent Lewis (Dianne) Pledger of Chapel Hill, NC, Yvette Nichelson of Winston-Salem, NC, and Desi A McDuffie of Winston-Salem, NC, was his (Caregiver). Anthony was blessed with 12 nieces and nephews, 1 great niece, a devoted cousin Fred McQuiller of Winston-Salem, NC. and a host of relatives and friends.

Private graveside services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery. there will be no public viewing of Mr. McDuffie.
