Mrs. Annie Mae Morrison, 85, was born on February 21, 1931 to the late Frances Govan Williams and Wiley Williams in Winston-Salem, NC. She departed this life on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

Ms. Morrison attended the local public schools. She lived for many years in Philadelphia, PA. While in Philadelphia, she was employed and retired from Temple University. She relocated to Winston-Salem where she resided with her daughter, Charissa and family.

Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Fred G. Morrison; children: Samuel Roland and Frances Angela Morrison; siblings: Esther Mae Thompson, Wiley Williams and Marion Williams. Annie is survived by her daughters: Lujeanna Williams of Washington, DC, Georgia Madison of Petersburg, VA, Charissa Harley of the home; sons: Leon Crosby of Olympia, WA, Willie (Debra) Crosby of Charlotte, NC; Gregory Crosby, Fred (Davette) Morrison, Michael "Mo" (Tina) Morrison, all of the city; a loving niece, Catherine (Robert) Smith; her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and numerous outer relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. the family will greet friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Interment in Piedmont Memorial Gardens
