Mrs. Annie Vivian Jordan peacefully passed away at her home on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, following a period of illness. She was born to the late Curtis McRae and Oglather Stella McEachin in Scotland County, NC on October 4, 1936.

Mrs. Jordan was married to the late John Henry Jordan, Jr. for sixty-three years prior to his death on January 11, 2015. And they were the proud parents of seven children. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Akia Faith Jordan.

Survivors who will cherish loving memories of her include her children, John (Patricia) Henry Jordan, III, Betty Jean Jordan, Betty Ann (Billy) Summers, Brenda Jordan, Patricia Jordan, Linda Mitchell and Angela Jordan; 15 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; three brothers-in-law, Nathaniel (Alice) Jordan, Sr., Charlie Jordan and Charles Jordan; four sisters-in-law, Fannie Times, Elizabeth Davis of Mt. Vernon, NY, Shirley Brown of Atlanta, GA and Lucille Monroe; several extended family members and many friends.

A Funeral Service of Love and Remembrance will be held at 1pm on Monday, September 26, 2016 at Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
