Mrs. Anna H. Fulp, 97, affectionately known as "Momma Anna," peacefully went to sleep on Friday, March 31, 2017, following a brief illness. She was born to the late Charlie and Mammie Hairston in Stokes County, North Carolina on March 1, 1920.

Momma Anna joined the Apostolic faith at an early age. She was baptized In the Name of Jesus and received the gift of the Holy Ghost. She was a devoted homemaker and assisted her husband on the family farm.

She married the love of her life, Robert Fulp, Sr., and their union was blessed with five children. She was preceded in death by her loving husband; a son, Robert Fulp, Jr.; granddaughter, Faraha Fulp; and a sister, Lula Amos. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Although she gave birth to only five children, she was a mother to all in her community.

Momma Anna leaves to cherish her precious memory, her devoted children, Richard (Shirley) Fulp, Margie (Reginald) Cunningham, Sarah (Wali) Salaam and Larry D. Fulp, Sr.; thirteen beloved grandchildren; seventeen treasured great-grandchildren; two loving great-great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Ella Mae Fulp.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 11 AM, Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Walkertown, NC. The family will greet friends at Clark S. Brown and Sons Funeral Home from 6:30 PM 8:00 PM, on Friday, April 7, 2017. Interment will be in the Mt. Sinai/Fulp Family Cemetery.
