Alfonza Mitchell Jr. passed away peacefully on March 16, 2025 at the age of 56. He was born on February 22, 1969 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to Alfonza Mitchell Sr. and Mary Mitchell.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Mitchell; and son, Jarian Brannon.

He leaves behind his wife; children; grandchildren; father, Alfonza Mitchell Sr.; brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.

His quiet strength, unwavering resilience, and gentle spirit will be remembered by all who knew him. Though Alfonza's time with us was brief, the depth of love and happiness he shared will forever remain in our hearts. Fly high! You are finally free to just be!

Mr. Mitchell's family will meet with friends from 4:00 PM~6:00 PM on Friday, March 28, 2025 at the Courtyard Marriott, 640 W. 4th Street, Winston-Salem, NC to share memories of Alfonza.
