raham "Fin" Woods, a native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina was born on February 12, 1958. He transitioned to his heavenly home, from natural causes, at 7:36 P.M. on February 1, 2025.

A known fixture at Crystal Towers on Sixth Street, Abraham was loved by his fellow residents there. He will be truly remembered for his caring and loving personality.

He was a supportive and funny soul, who would joke around with everyone. In his childhood, he moved about the neighborhood as a paperboy and delivered newspapers to waiting households. "Fin" enjoyed being surrounded by nature and developed a love for fishing. In the 80's, he fine tuned his talent for playing video games by spending time playing at the local Save-Way Convenience Store.

With his huge heart, Abraham would do anything to help anyone who was truly in need. As a vocation, he learned and mastered the art of pouring concrete with his brother, Daniel Woods.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Hasty B. Woods; grandmother, Alma Burgess; brothers, John Woods, Timothy Woods and Daniel Woods Sr.; and a sister, Francesca Spence.

Abraham is survived by one sister, Alma Tisdale (Curtis) of Georgia; his uncle, Taylor Burgess of Florida; his nephew, Daniel Woods Jr. who was his caretaker; two nieces, Nancy Woods and Mamie Woods of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM, Wednesday, February 12, 2025 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. Family visitation will begin at 11:30 AM.
